Roasted Cajun Style Chickpeas ( these are outta sight man)

Wow, far out man, a groovy vegetarian snack!

Toasty, Roasted Chickpeas, Cajun Style!

this recipe was submitted to Food 52 by ( anotherfoodieblogger )
maybe i didn't need to say that and maybe i did.
here's what you should buy at the co-op man:

1 - 15 ounce can of garbanzo beans man, maybe rinse em off and drain em man.
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 tablespoon of grated parmesan
1/4 teaspoon of some really sweet hungarian paprika dude
1/8 of a  teaspoon of all of these far out spices, man.... like regular paprika, cumin, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and maybe some onion powder too.
you need at least a tablespoon of fresh lime juice
and then you should get some salt and pepper if you feel like it  , i do man! just because i dig it

so, here's what i do next:
i get a very cool bowl and fill it with everything but the beans man!
and i add more oil if i think it's too thick
then i put the beans in the bowl and mix it around and look at it
if it looks really cool then i spread it all out on some kind of a baking pan that i covered with aluminum foil.
turn on the oven and make it really hot, 425 degrees  (man that's really hot)
put the stuff in the oven and keep it there for about 20 minutes
you can look at it and maybe stir it
after you stir it, you can bake it some more about 10 to 15 minutes more
but you need to keep stirring it around every 5 minutes man
you can just pull up a chair and keep lookin in the oven window, wow, far out!
you just want to make sure  the stuff doesn't burn, you know what i mean man?
i take it out when it's done and let it chill out for awhile
wow, then you can just sit around and eat it!
or you can like share it with some people
anyway,

Peace in the Kitchen man.....
